This is a simple, but common type of report which provides a snapshot record of the condition of a property at a specific time, i.e. when it is inspected.
A schedule of condition is a useful tool to record the condition of a property and the extent of any damage or defects. It may be undertaken as part of the party wall process, independently, or for other purposes such as the commencement of a new lease.
A schedule of condition usually comprises a written record in tabular format combined with a methodical set of photographs of the relevant areas. Whilst not technically demanding, at PSC Surveys, we recognise that a conscientious and methodical approach is required to ensure the document provides you with the full protection you require.
We generally offer three levels of schedule:-
- Schedule of Photography (a set of photography with captions).
- Standard Schedule of Condition (photographs are sent to you electronically with the report).
- Photographic Schedule of Condition (incorporates photographs in the body of the report as well as electronic copies).
